Food is life itself, a fabric of joy and passion. 18 October is a special day, the birthday of Egri Bikavér, and on this occasion let us rejoice together with the wine. The organisers welcome everyone to a six-handed chef's evening composed for Egri Bikavér, in the recently renovated and imposing event hall of the Archbishop of Eger's Palace, the Pátriárka Restaurant.

A string quartet, a welcome canapé and Egri Csillag white wine in the beautiful courtyard of the Pátriárka Restaurant.

18:00 Dinner

The guest of honour of the evening, Orsolya Karafiáth - writer, poet, literary translator, publicist and editor - will open the Egri Bikavér Dinner and then present the 2024 "Egri Bikavér Award" to this year's winner. At the Dinner Evening, you can enjoy 4 courses and 8 Egri Bikavérs, including 3 main courses and 1 dessert. Winemakers will present their own Bikavér before each course. During the evening, you can enjoy Latin dancing, live music and Orsolya Karafiáth performing her own composition about Egri Bikavér.
