Somló Wine District
The Juhfark Festival was created through the collaboration of Somló winemakers to showcase one of Hungary's most unique grape varieties to interested visitors in one place at one time. At the walk-round tasting, guests can sample the best wines of recent years: 27 wines from 16 wineries selected in a preliminary judging. The tasting is held every year, and this year marks its 10th anniversary.
The winemakers will offer tastings, answer questions, and participants will be able to enjoy the special atmosphere of Somló alongside the wines. Three workshops and gastronomic offerings paired with the wines will make the tasting an even more memorable experience.
Participating wineries: Baráth Winery, Barcza Winery, Csordás-Fodor Winery, Fehérvári Estate, Fekete Winery, Hegedűs-Szabó Winery, Clements Winery, Kabor Somlói Wine Estate, Kancellár Estate, Kolonics Winery, Kőfejtő Winery, Kreinbacher Estate, Laci Nagy Bajuszú Jász Winery, Somlói Vándor Winery, A Szemüveges Srác Wine Cellar, Tornai Winery
