Juhfark and Somló are a special pair. The unique, volcanic character of Somló is best conveyed by Juhfark, and vice versa: Juhfark’s characteristics are best expressed in Somló. The result is an inimitable wine with complex, mineral flavours.

Every year, the hill’s winemakers gather to present their best wines to the public at the largest representative tasting of Juhfark. The winemakers themselves pour their wines, talk about them and answer guests’ questions. The walkaround tasting is a true celebration of a special variety, Somló, and of shared experiences.

A vertical Tornai Juhfark tasting of international award-winning wines from different vintages of one decade. Led by: Tamás Tornai.

The organisers are providing a free shuttle service to the Juhfark Festival from accommodation in the Somló and the surrounding area, as well as a shuttle bus service from Budapest (ticket price applies).
