Mád is always worth a visit, but on 18 January, St. Vincent's Day, the Tokaj village offers a special experience for everyone. The heart of the wine region is now a little more magical, inviting you on a real winter adventure - with wine, good vibes and fabulous scenery!
PROGRAMME:
9:30 - Reception with palinka at the Nőtelen House
9:45 - Walk to St. Thomas Hilltop
10:00 - "Exciting mulled wine variations!" - The wineries will be matching the spicing to their own wines. Hot tea, sausages, fresh bread on the hilltop!
10:20 - Opening and blessing of the grapes
11:00 - Bottle search in the vineyards, watering the vines with wine
11:20 - Pruning with representatives of the wineries
13:00 - 18:00 - Open Cellars on St. Vince's Day
