Wine Run enthusiasts can rejoice: on October 3–4, 2025, the most colorful and delicious running event of the year will be held again in Mád! A weekend where the joy of exercise meets the gastronomic treasures of the Hegyalja region – all seasoned with a pinch of irony, a large dose of laughter, and excellent wines.

The Wine Run is not a classic running race, but a way of life. The event focuses on vineyards, wines, and gastronomy, all served in the most authentic way, with the direct involvement of the wineries. There are two distances to choose from, 6.5 and 12 kilometers, and participants will not only explore one of the most beautiful villages in this historic wine region, but also enjoy refreshing stops with superb wines and sumptuous dishes, as well as mini-concerts.

Participants can look forward to a selection of wines from Mád's iconic wineries, including Barta, Holdvölgy, Maison aux Pois, Royal Tokaji, Pelle, Szarka, Szepsy, and Zsirai.
