Start the day with a walking tour to better understand the soil and geological features of the Kunság Wine District! Visit the Shepherd Museum in Bugac and head along the hiking trail operated by the Kiskunság National Park, which leads from here to the juniper bush. After that, visit the Sándor Petőfi Memorial Museum in Kiskőrös, and if you are with children, then be sure to call into the János Vitéz Visitor Centre too! Have lunch and then do some wine tasting in one of the town centre’s popular wineries. Then head to Soltvadkert, where you can swim or paddle in Lake Vadkert, then rent a bike to discover Soltvadkert, the birdwatching spots around the lake, the sandy vineyards and finally the town centre, where you can visit the former Jewish cemetery as well as pop into the popular confectionery. There is also a nationally known winery in Soltvadkert, so if you call in there, you won’t be disappointed by the wines.
