The family has been producing Tokaj wines since the 1500s. As Tokaj aszú wine has been produced since 1500s, the history of the family cannot be separated from it. The younger generations are proud of their ancestors and do their best going increasingly toward perfection. The concept is to produce the best grapes that is possible at all, without any compromise. The vineyards are at high altitude, on steep slopes, their soil is very stony. The average age of the vines is above 40-50 years. We concentrate on the small-, loose bunched Furmint, and the vineyards of Mád, but as our aim is to get the knowledge of the different soil types, we work with lands in Bodrogkeresztúr, Tarcal, Mezőzombor, Rátka and Tállya too.
