Sharing knowledge about wines of Hungary has always been an important task of the Hungarian Tourism Agency. This time we would like to offer an opportunity for foreigners to get acquainted with Hungarian wine culture on a free workshop and masterclass held in Budapest.

Do you work in the hospitality or tourism sector? Or are you just particularly interested in wines, especially the wines of the country you are living in? Whether or not you use wine in your daily work, you are most welcome to join our upcoming event in Budapest, at the Corinthia Budapest hotel.

'Bordói November' Grand Tasting 2021 will be home to an educational side-event, the Wines and Wine Regions of Hungary workshop on the 20^th of November, hosted by Wines of Hungary Personally, the community brand of all wines and wineries of the country.

The workshop is available for foreign citizens over 18 years of age living in Hungary, with special regard to those working in the fields of gastronomy, wine and tourism. The English language 2-hour presentation will be held by Mihály Konkoly DipWSET, wine educator from 11:00 till 13:00, prior the Grand Tasting. Participants will have the chance to learn about our most important wine producing regions and wine styles, as well as taste 7 typical and renowned wines from different terroirs.

Admission to the event is free of charge after registration on this site. Make sure you apply early as places are limited (max. 50 pers.).
