Bardon Winery

Elegant, aristocratic wines in bottles – Our winery was named after the owner´s mother, Beatrix Bardon, the last member of the Bardon dynasty. An aristocratic family with a rich history: they escaped the French revolution and settled down in Hungary in the middle of the 18th century.All roads lead to Erdőbénye: in 2007 the winery has brought to life the noble house located on the main street of this little village in the Tokaj Wine Region. In our stylishly refurbished estate the French heritage meets the aristocratic past and the modern technology the mindset of our traveled winemaker, Adam Molnar.Our famous vineyards such as Meszes, Lapis and Sarkad used to belong to the Hungarian aristocracy and is currently 9 hectars. The vineyard consists of new plantations as well as 100 year old vines too. Our grapes are exclusively handled manually in a perfect harmony with nature. We avoid using any chemicals during the winemaking process.
