Our cellar is in a village called Vál, this is where we ferment and mature our wines in tank and barrels. We have a total of 3.5 hectares in two different wine districts: Etyek-Buda and Mátra. Talking of our Etyek-Buda plantations, we have Királyleányka variety in Vál and Riesling in Nadap (this area belongs to the region of Lake Velence). We produce here lighter, fruity wines. In the meanwhile, Mátra Wine District gives birth to more serious wines, as these vineyards are able to provide more complex wines. We have 2 hectares around the village of Gyöngyöspata. Our Kékfrankos vineyards can be found in 4 different areas. We would like to make separate Kékfrankos wines from these plots to show the differences between the terroirs. The procedure is the same, the only difference comes from the ground. We cultivate further varieties such as Portugieser, Olaszrizling and Hárslevelű. Our winery has 2 owners: Mariann and myself, Viktor. Mariann is focusing on the design, marketing and sales. I am mainly in the vineyards, managing the field work, but Mariann helps me here too. We make our wines and all decisions about them together. Mariann and Viktor
