The recultivation of the Ortás vineyard in Egerbakta started in 2012. Since then we managed to revive the area and develop the estate. We produced the first red wine cuvee in 2018 from selected grapes coming from the best panoramatic part of our vineyard. Our aim is to produce the wines from grapes of the best years and seasons. This philosophy was reflected when we created our red wine cuvee in 2020 as well. In 2021 our activity has been expanded to operating a wine cellar, too, where we produce the wines in classical wooden barrels. We used even some earlier wines of the best years from the cellar, when we created our first Bulls' Blood of Eger (Egri Bikavér) red wine cuvee. In the future we are focusing on the creation of the best red wine cuvees from grapes of the best seasons.
