The Tokaj Nobilis Vineyard was founded in 2000, but viticulture is a long tradition in our family, we have been cultivating some areas for 70 years. We currently produce grapes on 7 hectares on the border of Bodrogkisfalud in the Barakonyi and Csirke-mál vineyards, where Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárga muscat and Kövérszőlő varieties can be found. Our winery is located in the heart of the wine region, in Bodrogkeresztúr, in a house built in the late 1800s. Our press house also has a traditional cellar, where we can mature our wines in the right climate. With us, winemaking begins in the vineyard, as the wine is basically determined by the quality of the grapes. As the quality of the wine is the most important for us, we filter 30 hl / ha of wine per hectare after the extremely strict pruning, sprouting and cluster selection. Most of our wines are fermented in wooden barrels and aged for several months or years. In addition to dry, vineyard-selected wines, late-harvest wines, 5 or 6 puttony Aszú wines and Tokaji Champagne are born in our cellar.
