Successful wine promotion event in Rome

Six Hungarian wineries representing the Tokaj, Villány, Szekszárd, Balatonboglár and Tolna wine districts presented their wines at a spring event in the Italian capital, which attracted almost 200 people.

The Falconieri Palace, the seat of the Collegium Hungaricum, hosted the tourism and wine promotion event on 29 March, which showcased Hungary, Croatia and the Italian region of Lazio. A total of sixteen winemakers from the three countries presented two wines each at the event, which included a walkaround tasting and masterclasses.

The Hungarian participation was coordinated by the Embassy of Hungary in Rome, and representatives of Juliet Victor Vineyards, Patricius Winery, Tűzkő Estate, Dúzsi Winery, Bock Estate and Konyári Winery welcomed nearly 200 professional visitors.

Wine merchants, buyers from the HoReCa sector, sommeliers, food and wine journalists, bloggers and influencers, as well as the tourism sector, were represented at the event.
