Our winery was funded in 1920 by my great-great-grandfather. Our first bottled wines appeared in 2011. Since then we have been cultivating our grapes according to the rules of ecological cultivation. The past few years we started to make natural wines as well. Our goal is to present the Somló terroir authentically, to let he wine live in its natural manner, with as little intervention as possible. I consider it a virtue for a winery to have its own style and to show the diversity of vintages. We do not want to make uniform wines, we are proud of the fact that each batch has its own personality.
