The very first bottled wine that I made in my father-in-law’s cellar in 1997 was a Kékfrankos. In 2001, I started to process grapes just for fun that I bought from the Szekszárd region in my small cellar. Later, the results of various wine competitions have inspired my family and me to buy our own estate and vineyard in the Szekszárd Wine Region in 2013. In addition to our own Cabernet Sauvignon, Kékfrankos and Shiraz plantations which we cultivate in our 2 hectares, we offerour guests Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Kadarka, ZöldVeltelini, Chardonnay and Olaszrizling as well purchased from the Szekszárd wine region. With the 2017-18 vintage, we would like to break into the top wine category. Our aim is to create great cuvées. The old estate at Nyéki-hegy, is not only the home to the processes of winemaking, but also awaits its guests with a brand new cellar branch, a wine terrace hidden in the shade of walnut trees and a tiny guesthouse designed to feel the closeness of nature.
